SBP cuts interest rate to 7 percent, announces monetary policy
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has reduced the interest rate to seven percent.
Governor SBP Ashraf Wathra announced the cut in the interest rate while announcing the monetary policy at a press conference on Saturday.
He said that the cut in interest rate will help generate business activity and attract more investment in the country.
He said the cut in energy and fuel prices will also promote economic activity.
