SBP cuts policy rates by 25 bps from 6% to 5.75%

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has reduced the policy rate by 25 basis points from 6.0 percent to 5.75 percent.

In its Monetary Policy, the SBP noted that macroeconomic conditions continue to improve during the current financial year.

It predicted that Real GDP growth is set to exceed the last year’s target of four point two percent.
