SC adjourns Rs54bn written off loans case for one week
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday adjourned the hearing of a case pertaining to written off loans amounting to Rs54 billion for one week.
A three member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar heard a case pertaining to written off loans amounting to Rs54 billion.
During the proceedings, the CJP said the amount will be recovered from those who got their loans written off through political influence.
Justice Saqib Nisar said that the recoveries will be made from the factories or the shares of the concerned people. Hearing of the case has been adjourned for one week.
