SC disqualifies PTI’s KP lawmaker Abdul Munim
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court on Thursday disqualified Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Abdul Munim Khan who was elected to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly from PK-88 over fake documents.
The PTI member and provincial adviser was accused of drawing a salary as a teacher.
Munim was serving as an advisor to chief minister Pervaiz Khattak and was a legislator from district Shangla in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Earlier, on April 19 last year, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had de-seated Abdul Munim Khan on the basis of allegations that he was a government servant months before 2013 general elections.
