SC issues notices to all parties in delimitations of Rawalpindi Union Councils case
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has on Tuesday issued notices to all parties regarding delimitations of Rawalpindi Union Councils.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Saqib Nisar heard a petition regarding delimitations of Rawalpindi Union Councils.
The Election Commission’s lawyer Muneer Piracha told the court that the Local Government Act gives the ECP right for delimitations.
Justice Saqib Nisar remarked that the matter is of constitutional authority, adding that the verdict cannot be given without listening to other parties.
