SC moved against LHC verdict on suspending ECP code of conduct
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A petition has been filed with the Supreme Court against Lahore High Court’s verdict on suspending ECP code of conduct.
Ibrahim Satti, the petitioner, stated that the SC had announced judgment to restore the code of conduct. “Despite the orders of the Supreme Court, the LHC has suspended the ECP code of conduct,” he contended.
The ECP had banned the prime minister, chief minister, MNAs and MPAs from taking part in the electioneering.
