Security arrangements finalized for PSL final in Karachi
KARACHI (92 News) – Security arrangements have been finalized for the Pakistan Super League final to be played at National Cricket Stadium on Monday.
During a briefing, Brigadier Shahid said that the stadium gates will remain open from 11am to 5pm. “Stringent security arrangements have been finalized for the final,” he said.
He said that 8,000 security officials will be on duty during the match. “Pak Army will supervise the security arrangements by helicopter,” he said.
They said that 1,600 police official will be appointed for traffic management. “No one will be allowed to reach the stadium by vehicle,” he said.
The provincial sports minister said that the final will be celebrated like a festival.
The DIG Traffic said that the roads leading to the stadium would be closed. “Five parks will be used as parking lots and shuttle service,” he said.
