Security beefed up at Mazar-e-Quaid

KARACHI (92 News) – The Security has been beefed up at the tomb of Quaid-e-Azam in Karachi following terror threats by the terrorists on Thursday.

The Sindh Home Ministry has sent a letter to the provincial government informing them about terrorist threats.

The Sindh government has been informed that the terrorist activity could be carried out at the tomb of Quaid-e-Azam to hurt the sentiments of people.

The provincial government has been directed in the letter to beef up security at the tomb.

Sources said that following the directions of the of federal government, the provincial government has called on an important meeting with the tomb’s management board regarding security.
