Security beefed up in the city amid NA-122 by-polls
LAHORE (92 News) –In an effort to curb any troublesome activity, Section 144 has also been imposed in the city by the District Coordination Officer (DCO) barring political workers of any party on the show of ammunition.
The security was tightened in the city of Lahore on Sunday in connection with the NA-122 by-election.
The security forces have taken over the charge of security before the polling started, while police forces are also patrolling the area.
Officials said that the security personnel were ready to face any untoward incident.
As the polling started in different polling stations including Samanabad, Rasool Park and Garhi Shahu, police high-ups started visiting the polling stations to review security arrangements.
