Security forces foil terror bid planned for Easter
LAHORE (92 News) – The security forces foiled a major terror bid planned for Easter as a terrorist was killed during a search operation in Lahore.
The Counter Terrorism Department and intelligence agencies conducted a joint search operation under Operation Raddul Fasaad, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
During the operation near Punjab Housing Society, the security forces gunned down a terrorist while two persons, including a woman, were also held.
One facilitator of terrorists was also arrested during the operation.
Three suicide jackets and arms were recovered from the possession of the accused.
Four police officials also got wounded during the exchange of fire.
