Security put on ‘high alert’ in Lahore after Khuzdar blast
LAHORE (92 News) – Security has been put on high alert in Lahore after Saturday’s deadly blast at Shah Noorani shrine in Balochistan that claimed at least 53 lives and injured over 100 people.
The security alert was given by Lahore CCPO Amin Wains.
He directed to make strict security arrangements on entry and exit points of the city and all government buildings.
The CCPO directed all divisional SPs to beef up the security at shrines in their respective divisions. He also directed to search every visitor at the shrines.
Citizens have also been asked to keep a vigilant eye on the atmosphere around them and immediately inform to the police if they see anyone or anything suspicious.
