It seems as if Shehbaz returning after winning world cup: PTI
LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders strongly reacted to the return of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) president on Sunday.
In a statement, Punjab government spokesperson Shahbaz Gill said that the PML-N leader’s statements show as if he had returned after winning a world cup and not getting treatment.
He said that Shehbaz Sharif was busy doing politics and hatching conspiracies during his stay in London.
He also said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led provincial government will set up such exceptional hospitals in ‘Naya Pakistan’ so that rulers like the opposition leader in National Assembly will not have to go abroad for treatment.
Slamming the Sharif family, Gill said they couldn’t set up a single hospital where they can get treatment. He said it would have been better had Sharif brought with him his absconding son, son-in-law, and former finance minister Ishaq Dar.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, welcoming Shehbaz Sharif upon his return from the UK, claimed he made efforts to get an NRO-like deal during his stay in London.
In a series of tweets, she expressed the hope that the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly would face the cases against him.
Firdous Awan said the way Mr Sharif used to be seen walking London streets shows that he has no health issues and hoped he will appear before courts regularly and won’t go abroad again.
She said it would have been better if he had brought with him former finance minister Ishaq Dar, his son and son-in-law to Pakistan.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeemul Haque urged Shehbaz Sharif to abandon the politics of disruption and encourage healthy debate.
After the PML-N president’s return from London, in his tweet, he said: “I hope that a month in London’s cafes and walks in Hyde Park and shopping in Harrods would have freshened Shahbaz Sharifs mind and he will adopt a positive and constructive attitude in the NA budget session.”
“Let’s abandon the politics of disruption and encourage healthy debate.”
On the other hand, senior lawyer and PTI leader Babar Awan demanded to present the medical report of Shehbaz Sharif before the courts.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that he never do only showy or fake works like the previous rulers.
