Seminaries will be registered in Sindh: Chandio

KARACHI (92 News) – Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information Maula Bakhsh Chandio has said that seminaries will be registered and it is inevitable.

Briefing the media about the decisions made in the Sindh Apex Committee on Wednesday, he said that the ban on display of weapons will be implemented.

“The federation should fulfill its duty and should not assign it to the provinces. The quota system has not been discussed,” he said.

However, the Rangers have not contradicted the DG Rangers Sindh Maj Gen Bilal Akbar.

Chandio said that the reservations of religious parties about the registration of seminaries will be removed.


He said that the decision had been made to renew the registration of vehicles’ number plates. “Permission from the deputy commissioner is mandatory to collect hides of sacrificial animals,” he said.

The adviser said that the demolished offices of the MQM had been constructed on the state land.
