PML-N, ANP & JI form alliance for Senate elections

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Ahead of tomorrow’s (Saturday) Senate elections, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Awami National Party (ANP) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Friday formed an alliance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This was decided in a meeting between the heads of PML-N, ANP and JI that was held in Peshawar.

Pir Sabir Shah of the PML-N and Mushtaq Ahmad Khan of the JI would be the joint candidate for the Senate elections from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Masood Ahmad Khattak of the ANP will also be a joint candidate for the polls.

On woman’s seat, Shagufta Malik will be the joint candidate for the Senate elections from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
