Seven death-row prisoners hanged in Punjab jails
MULTAN (92 News) – At least seven death-row prisoners including killer of former chief minister Punjab Ghulam Haider Wayen convicted of murder were executed in different jails on Thursday.
As per details, the death-row prisoner Zaman alias Zamani convicted of murdering former chief minister Punjab Ghulam Haider Wayen was executed in Multan Central Jail.
A death-row prisoner Anwar Shamim, convicted of killing his rival, was executed in Kot Lakhpat Jail.
A death-row prisoner Hassan, convicted of killing a woman and her son 15 years ago, was hanged to death in Bahawalpur New Central Jail.
Two death-row prisoners convicted of murder were executed in Adyala Jail Rawalpindi, while two death-row prisoners Akbar and Hazoor Baksh convicted of murder were hanged to death in Dera Ghazi Khan Central Jail.
