ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Several ministers on Tuesday demanded steps to control price-hike during a meeting of the federal cabinet.

Addressing the federal cabinet, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that price-hike is the biggest problem and the government would leave no stone unturned to resolve it.

He also lauded the performance of Federal Minister for Law Sheikh Rasheed. Sources said that the cabinet approved the Import Export Bank Act. It also approved the nomination of Boards of Directors and reorganization of the Utility Stores Board.

During the meeting, Sheikh Rasheed feared that the flour price would further go up. "We have to face criticism due to an increase in the prices of medicines," he added.

Faisal Sultan said that he had directed the DRAP to improve the affairs. Faisal Vawda criticized Shibli Faraz, asking him to strengthen the media team.

Murad Saeed held Nadeem Babar and Omer Ayub responsible for the increase in the prices of electricity and gas.
