Man dies after jumping out of burning plaza on MM Alam Road
LAHORE (92 News) – A man, who jumped out of a burning plaza on MM Alam Road, succumbed to his wounds on Saturday.
Several people, including over 20 women and children, were trapped when a fire erupted in Ali Tower. All the trapped people were rescued by fire fighters.
The Rescue 1122 staff extinguished the fire after hectic efforts. The fire that erupted in the basement of the multi-storey plaza engulfed all the floors immediately.
The plaza is owned by son-in-law of Punjab former chief minister Shehbaz Sharif.
A NAB team had visited the plaza on Saturday.
