ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah on Wednesday agreed to demand immediate resignations from the members of the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Talking to the media after a meeting on Wednesday, the PTI leader said that the ECP is a constitutional institution, but not above the masses.

Khurshid Shah said that the ECP members have become controversial.

He said that he had asked the ECP members to resign a year ago. “They have no justification to stay after the Judicial Commission report,” he said.

He said that Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah was the captain of the Karachi operation and he should be made the chairman of the monitoring team as well.

Khurshid Shah said that the government should break the silence and approach the United Nations over the Indian threats.
