LAHORE (92 News) – Former president Asif Zardari has said that Shahbaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullah will have to appear before the law.

Addressing a joint press conference after a meeting with PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri at Minhajul Quran Secretariat on Friday, he said that a murder case will also be registered against Nawaz Sharif.

“We are with Dr Tahirul Qadri at all fronts,” he said. “Those talking about not to get political decisions from courts are getting their decisions from abroad.”

The PPP co-chairman said that Shahbaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullah will have to resign.

To a question about the departure of the Sharifs to Saudi Arabia, Asif Zardari said that the Sharif brothers are trying to protect their properties abroad.

He said that they will get the Model Town tragedy victims justice. “Shahbaz Sharif will have to step down.”

Dr Tahirul Qadri said that the PPP is with them since day one. “Saudi Arabia will not get the Sharifs any justice. We have an independent country and believe in the supremacy of the constitution. No one can impose his decision on us from abroad.”

Earlier, Asif Ali Zardari and Dr Tahirul Qadri held a meeting.

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah said that they will not compromise on anything except justice.
