Shahbaz Sharif ordered worst massacre in Model Town: Dr Tahirul Qadri
LAHORE (92 News) – PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had ordered the worst massacre in Model Town.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he claimed that much more people were murdered in the tragedy, but autopsy on them could not be conducted due to government pressure.
He called for putting the names of the responsible people on the exit control list. “We will not rest until taking the accused to their logical end,” he maintained.
The PAT chief termed the court verdict as victory of justice, saying the court has taken a step towards firmness of justice. “The chief minister had said that he will quit if found guilty. Why is he now moving against the court verdict? It means he is a killer.”
He said: “According to our information, 27 people were killed in the Model Town tragedy.”
Dr Tahirul Qadri said that the requirements of justice should be fulfilled under the Article 19A. “The nemesis of the rulers has started and they are now running away,” he added.
He said that Nawaz Sharif and his family members want to create misconception about the judiciary and they will not let it succeed.
