Shaheen Air flight crash lands off runway at airport after tyres burst
LAHORE (92 News) – The Shaheen Air flight made an emergency landing in Allama Iqbal International Airport on Tuesday, with over 100 people reportedly on board after its tyres burst.
The NL-142 flight was which departed from Karachi was forced to make an emergency landing as its tyres burst, according to initial reports. More than 200 passengers and seven crew members were on board the flight.
The passengers on the plane said that as the plane touched the ground, it bounced back and its tyres burst after plane’s landing gear malfunctioned The Shaheen Airlines plane veered off path of the runway and landed on the grass.
The runway was closed for flights following the landing, while all passengers were evacuated safely from the aircraft.
