Sharjeel guides Pakistan to 255-run win against Ireland in 1st ODI

DUBLIN (92 News) – Pakistan defeated Ireland by 255 runs in the first ODI at Dublin on Thursday.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 337 runs in the rain-shortened match. Sharjeel Khan smashed spectacular 152 off 86 balls to strengthen Pakistan’s position.

Shoaib Malik (57), Muhammad Nawaz (53) and Muhammad Hafeez (37) were the main scorers.

McCarthy grabbed four wickets, while Murtagh and PKD Chase took one wicket each.

In reply, Ireland were bowled out for 82 runs in 23.4 overs. Imad Waseem took five scalps for 14 runs. Umar Gul got three wickets for 23 runs.
