SHC extends Mirza’s protective bail, Fehmdia alleges FIRs against husband ‘false’
BADIN (92 News) – The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday extended the protective bail granted to former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar Mirza till May 9 and ordered the concerned DIG to provide police escort to Mirza on travelling to court.
Earlier, Mirza’s lawyer filed a plea against the home secretary, IG and other police officials for not allowing him to leave his residence and travel to the court despite protective bail.
On the other hand, Zulfiqar Mirza’s wife Fehmida Mirza alleged that all FIRs registered against her husband are false.
“The multiplying FIRs should be withdrawn. I will not even contest them,” she said.
Former Speaker National Assembly Fehmida Mirza demanded Chief Justice of Pakistan and the Prime Minister to take notice of the situation in Badin.
She also questioned that at whose behest SSP has registered FIRs against her husband.
