Shehbaz Sharif asks newly-elected MPAs to focus on next elections
LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif has asked the newly-elected members to focus on the next elections.
Addressing the parliamentary party meeting on Tuesday, he said that his party will sit in the opposition.
He asked the MPAs to support the party during difficult times. “Our objective is to serve the masses, not to rule. We served the people wholeheartedly for 10 years,” he said.
Shehbaz Sharif said that they will advance the journey of serving the masses if they got the opportunity.
He also took the MPAs into confidence over the party policy.
Meanwhile, only 106 MPAs, out of total 129, attended the meeting.
Khawaja Saad Rafique, Khawaja Imran Nazir and Khawaja Salman Rafique did not attend the meeting.
