Shehbaz Sharif expresses concern over increase in coronavirus cases
LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has expressed concern over an increase in coronavirus cases across the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, he said that the coronavirus would have not increased had there been a strategy to impose and lift the lockdown. “I again ask the government not to waste time and formulate a national and comprehensive strategy,” he added.
Shehbaz Sharif said that attention should be paid to relevant aspects as per conditions to minimize the losses.
He appealed to the people to adopt the precautionary measures. “A meeting of the Council of Common Interests should be convened to devise a strategy,” he said.
Reacting to his statement, Punjab Minister for Colonies Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that Shehbaz Sharif would know about the facts after coming out of his room.
Shahbaz Gill said that the opposition leader had never given a proposal except a political tirade.
