Shoaib, Wahab propel Pakistan to 41-run win over Zimbabwe in first ODI

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 41 runs in the first one-day international at Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday.

Batting first, Pakistan set the record target of 376 runs for three wickets in 50 overs.

Muhammad Hafeez (86), Azhar Ali (79), Shoaib Malik (112) and Haris Sohail (89) were the top scorers.

Zimbabwe were bowled out at 334 runs for five wickets in the stipulated over.

Elton Chigumbura (117) was the main scorer.


Wahab Riaz achieved three wickets, while Anwar Ali and Shoaib Malik got one wicket each.

Shoaib Malik was declared the Man of the Match.
