Sindh Apex Committee agree to continue ruthless operation against terrorists
KARACHI (92 News) – A meeting of the Sindh Apex Committee was held at CM House on Thursday, with Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah in the chair.
The committee expressed annoyance at the slow implementation of the National Action Plan.
It decided that the Sindh government and police have to take steps to improve their performance.
The meeting reviewed the decision made during the last meeting.
The meeting was told that the activities of 48 seminaries are suspicious in Sindh, which entice students to terrorism.
Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Sial and FIA Director Shahid Hayat participated in the meeting.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Shrajeel Memon said that the Apex Committee had decided to launch a crackdown against ghost employees in education, health and other departments.
He said that the meeting had also decided to seize unlicenced weapons.
Sharjeel memon said that the process to identify criminals is being expedited.
