Sindh Apex Committee decides to expedite targeted operation in Karachi
KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh Apex Committee has decided to expedite the targeted operation in Karachi.
This was decided during a meeting presided over by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
The meeting also decided to tighten security of the Chinese nationals working on the China Pak Economic Corridor.
Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad, Corps Commander Lt-Gen Naveed Mukhtar, DG Rangers Sindh Maj-Gen Bilal Akbar, provincial ministers and several civil and military officers attended the meeting.
The participants were briefed that the prices of properties had increased by 23 percent on the basis of law and order.
It was told that target killing, kidnap for ransom and other crimes had reduced by 80 percent.
The meeting also decided to recruit more 20,000 policemen who will be trained by the Pak Army.
