Sindh cabinet reshuffled, Sohail Siyal reappointed as home minister

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has reappointed Sohail Anwar Siyal as the provincial home minister.

A notification for the reshuffling of portfolios in the provincial cabinet was issued on Tuesday.

Siyal will also retain the portfolios of the Agriculture and Minerals ministries.

Moreover, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has been assigned the portfolio of Information Minister. He will also retain the charge of Transport Ministry.

Health Minister Dr Sikander Mendhro has been assigned the Religious Affairs and Zakat and Ushr ministries.


The changes in the provincial cabinet have been made after a meeting between PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

Sources said that the Sindh government wants to change the portfolios of the ministers failing to show good performance.
