KARACHI (92 News) – Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh Maula Bakhsh Chandio has on Wednesday said that the Sindh government is not against the special powers of Rangers.
Talking to media on Wednesday, Maula Bakhsh Chandio said that the resolution on the extension of Rangers special powers will soon be moved in the provincial assembly.
He said that it is not right to register cases under anti-terrorism against those arrested for corruption charges. “The operation of Rangers isn’t illegal but the people arrested under corruption charges shouldn’t be sent to Anti-Terrorism Court,” he added.
The advisor said that the Rangers operation will continue till elimination last terrorist, adding that the provincial assembly will extend the Rangers powers.
