Sindh health dept issues warning over Swine Flu outbreak
KARACHI (92 News) – Following emergence of Swine Flu cases across the country, Sindh Health Department has on Thursday issued alert in Karachi’s hospital and directed all hospitals to set up isolation wards.
Director Sindh health department Dr Zafar Ijaz said that keeping in view deaths across the country following the outbreak of Swine Flu, all hospitals are directed to set up isolation wards immediately.
He directed the hospital administration to shift all patients related to Swine Flu in the ward.
On the other hand, directions have been issued to enable influenza lab that was set up a few years ago at Civil Hospital.
The health department also warned citizens to immediately consult the doctor in case of fever, flu and pain in joints.
