Sindh Rangers conducted 14,327 operations during five years in Karachi
KARACHI (92 News) – The Rangers Sindh conducted 14,327 operations during their five-year deployment in Karachi.
According to the statistics made available with 92 News, as many as 2,189 terrorists and 826 target killers were arrested in the operations carried out so far since September 5, 2013.
About 10,716 accused were handed over to the police for legal action.
The Rangers recovered 12,878 weapons with 821,852 live bullets in the raids during this period. Moreover, over 900kg of explosives, 16 suicide jackets and 1,741 hand grenades were also recovered.
On the other hand, 786 extortionists and 193 kidnappers were arrested, while 163 abductees were recovered.
During the operations, 29 officers of the Rangers embraced martyrdom, while 103 jawans were injured.
