24 killed, 54 injured in Parachinar vegetable market blast
PARACHINAR (92 News) – At least 24 people were killed while 54 others were injured when a remote control bomb exploded in a vegetable market of Parachinar on Saturday.
According to local sources, the explosive material was kept in a sack.
According to political administration of the area, the injured are being shifted to Agency Headquarters Hospital. Many injured are in a critical condition, hospital sources said.
Since there is a lack of facilities at Agency Headquarter Hospital, the severely injured are being shifted to Peshawar hospital in Army helicopter, the ISPR said.
Amry and quick recovery force of FC reached the scene of the blast and cordoned off the area, the ISPR said.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar condemned the attack and ordered a report into the incident. He has also directed to provide every possible facility to the victims.
