Sindh Assembly speaker accepts MQM’s plea to withdraw resignations
KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Assembly Speaker Siraj Durrani has on Wednesday accepted the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s request for withdrawal of member provincial assembly’s resignations.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi on Wednesday, Siraj Durani confirmed the withdrawal of the MQM’s resignation.
“The MQM’s members can return to the assembly, adding that the MQM should work for the development of the province with the Pakistan People’s Party,” the speaker said.
Commenting on the MQM’s return to the government in the province, the speaker said that he doesn’t have authority to invite MQM in this regard, adding that the Sindh government can do this.
He said that the PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was welcomed in Badin like late prime minister Benazir Bhutto was welcomed.
