Student Rape Case: Judicial Magistrate extends remand of eight accused

LAHORE (92 News) – The Judicial Magistrate has on Sunday extended the physical remand of eight accused in teenage student gang rape case.

The prime suspect in teenage student rape case Adnan Sanaullah along with his accomplices presented in Judicial Magistrate Yalmaz Ghani’s Court.

During the hearing, police plead for the extension of physical remand of the accused but the court extended three days remand of the accused.

Talking to media outside courtroom, the lawyer of the accused said that false FIR was registered against his client, adding that the judicial remand of the accused could have been given.

Race Course police had registered a kidnapping and rape case against the accused who allegedly raped the teenager in a Mall Road guest house on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif constituted a medical board to examine girl, who tried to commit suicide yesterday due to constant questionings by police officials.
