Sugar mills can’t operate under pressure: spokesman
LAHORE (92 News) – Sugar Mills Association spokesman Waheed Chaudhry has said that sugar mills cannot operate under pressure from anyone.
Talking to 92 News on Tuesday, he said that the sugar mills will also not operate due to arrests.
He said that the matter had been resolved with Prime Minister Imran Khan, but Finance Minister Asad Umar had prolonged the matter.
The Sugar Mills Association spokesman said that not a single kilo of sugar could be exported due to conditions.
He said that the government will have to increase the sugar price.
