Sushma Swaraj to visit Islamabad tomorrow for “Heart of Asia Conference”

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Indian External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj will visit Islamabad tomorrow (Tuesday) to attend “Heart of Asia Conference” on Afghanistan.

The Indian external affairs minister met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who directed her for her visit, while she will also brief the parliament regarding her visit and National Security Advisors (NSA) level talks between the arch rivals that were held in Bangkok.

During Sushma’s visit, Pakistan-India cricket series will also come under discussion and it is expected that she would announce the decision of resuming cricket during her visit.

According to the diplomatic circle, the Indian external affairs minister will also hold talks on bilateral issues with the Pakistani leadership.

The confirmation on Monday comes a day after the national security advisers of both countries, Ajit Doval and Nasir Janjua, held a meeting in Bangkok to take the bilateral engagements forward.
