Tayyaba Torture Case: SC orders to shift minor girl to SOS Children’s Village

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has on Tuesday ordered the authorities to shift minor housemaid Tayyaba, who was tortured by the wife of a judge, to SOS Children’s Village from Sweet Home.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar resumed hearing of the case.
During the proceedings, the court ordered the authorities to shift the minor girl to SOS Children’s Village for two months.
The CJP remarked that shifting of the case to any other court will be decided after Islamabad High Court’s verdict.
The hearing has been adjourned for an indefinite period.
