Terror bid foiled in Quetta, BDS defuses bomb
QUETTA (92 News) – The security forces have on Friday foiled a terror bid after Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused a bomb recovered near the passport office in the provincial capital.
Police state that the bomb was planted near the passport office which was defused later by BDS.
The BDS team reached the scene on time and defused the remote control attached with the explosive material.
According to BDS, around four kilogram explosives whereas heavy amount of ball bearings were used which could have caused huge destruction in case of blast.
The security forces cordoned off the area and launched search operation.
