Terrorist, gang war commander killed in Karachi operation

KARACHI (92 News) – A terrorist and a gang war commander were killed during shootout with the police in the wee hours of Thursday.

As per details, police carried out a search operation in Karachi’s Lyari Baghdadi when the accused hiding in the area opened firing, in retaliation, the gang war commander killed on the spot.

The accused belonged to Baba Ladla group and he was involved in murder, attempt to murder, extortion and other incidents.

On the other hand, two police personnel sustained injuries when unknown men hurled hand grenade at the police vehicle, in retaliation, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) killed an accused namely Sameer Choto.


Sameer Choto belonged to Ghaffar Zakri group and he was involved in the killing of three Rangers personnel.

Meanwhile, police have arrested an accused after an encounter in Peerabad area and recovered weapons.
