Terrorists’ bid to purchase weapons foiled; foreign currency & gold recovered
PESHAWAR (92 News) – The Frontier Corps foiled terrorists’ attempt to purchase a huge quantity of weapons and recovered foreign currency and gold from them in Khyber Agency on Saturday.
According to the Frontier Corps, 100,000 Dirham, 1.4 million Saudi Riyals and 20,000 US dollars and a huge quantity of Pakistani currency were recovered from the terrorist.
Moreover, 2.5kg gold and 1.5kg silver have also been recovered from the terrorists who were trying them to smuggle to Afghanistan.
The FC officials said that they had arrested 19 people.
In another raid, security forces recovered rocket launchers, mortar shells, anti-aircraft guns and mines.
