Test cricketer Umar Akmal accuses Mickey Arthur of misbehavior
LAHORE (92 News) – Test cricketer Umar Akmal has accused head coach Mickey Arthur of misbehaving with him before chief selector Inzimamul Haq and Academy head coach Mushtaq Ahmed.
Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that the coaching staff had refused to work with him. “I had gone to England after informing Mushtaq Ahmed and Dr Sohail about my injury. On my return, the PCB Academy staff refused to work with me,” he added.
He said that he had neither fined so far and nor violated discipline.
Umar Akmal alleged that he was stopped from a fitness test through a wrong warning in the Champions Trophy 2009.
In a statement, Mickey Arthur said that he had not misbehaved with Umar Akmal and just directed him to play the club cricket.
