Those claiming to create new Pakistan could do nothing in KP: PM Nawaz
DERA ISMAIL KHAN (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Tuesday said that those claiming to create new Pakistan could do nothing in even Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the province is slipping from the hands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Addressing a big public meeting after laying foundation stone of Dera Ismail Khan-Hakla Motorway and other projects, Nawaz Sharif said that the protests are the destiny of their political opponents but they will continue to work.
Criticizing PTI chairman Imran Khan, he said that they have lost support even in Peshawar by-election. “You will not even have KP in 2018,” he said.
The prime minister further thanked Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Moulana Fazlur Rehman and said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) will jointly work for the development of the country.
He once again announced that the loadshedding will be eliminated until 2018 and further announced development package worth Rs 50 million and announced to build agricultural university in the DI Khan.
The Panama revelations have further sparked tension between the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif performed the groundbreaking of 285 kilometer long Dera Ismail Khan-Hakla motorway today (Tuesday).
The two 285 kilometer long motorway is part of western route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. It will be completed at a cost of over Rs129 billion in two years.
