Three alleged terrorists killed in CTD operation in Gujrat
GUJRAT (92 News) – The Counter Terrorism Department Punjab foiled an attempt of terrorism in Gujrat on early Monday, killing three suspected terrorists and recovering ammunition and maps from their possession.
According to the CTD officials, some suspects belonging to a banned militant outfit exchanged fire with a CTD team as a result of which three of them were killed while as many others managed to escape from the scene while taking benefit of darkness.
The CTD personnel seized rocket launchers, explosives and maps from the spot.
Those who were killed in the operation was wanted by police in several cases of attacks on law-enforcement agencies and security forces.
Officials further said the names of the suspects were included in the Red Book.
