Three children strangled in Lahore, mother held
LAHORE (92 News) – Three children were strangled to death in Askari XI in the Hayer police limits on Saturday.
The police have taken the bodies of four-year-old Ibrahim, six-year-old Kaneez Fatima and eight-year-old Zainul Abideen into custody and started investigations.
The police have arrested their mother.
The police said that Aneeqa got her marriage dissolved a few months ago and had been living with her children in a rented house.
They said that Aneeqa is an addict and marks of a sharp-edged weapon are visible on her wrists. “She has been giving contradictory statements since her arrest.”
They said that earlier Aneeqa had accused her former husband of the incident and later held one Hussain responsible for it.
The police have registered a case on the complaint of the father of the children. Aneeqa and her paramour Hussain Mustafa have been nominated in the FIR.
