Three policemen among six injured in Quetta grenade attack
QUETTA (92 News) – At least six persons, including three policemen and three passers-by were injured in a grenade attack on a police van at the Spinni Road in Quetta on Thursday night.
According to the reports, some miscreants hurled a hand grenade at a police mobile at the Spinni Road near RBC centre, injuring three policemen and three civilians.
Six injured men were brought to Civil Hospital Quetta’s Trauma Centre and have all been identified, the Balochistan Health Department spokesperson confirmed. However, the police van was badly damaged in the attack.
Security force personnel reached the spot after the attack and cordoned off the area and launched search operation to arrest the culprits.
Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal has condemned the attack.
