Three terrorists gunned down in Gujrat

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has on Thursday gunned down three terrorists during a raid in Gujrat’s Muradpur area.

As per details, on a tip off, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out a raid at a house in Muradpur near University Road in Gujrat.

During the raid, the terrorists hiding in the house opened firing, in retaliation three terrorists were killed on the spot, while three others managed to flee.

Weapons, explosive material and detonators were also recovered from the possession of slain terrorists.


The CTD spokesman said that the terrorists belonged to banned Tehreek-e-Taliban who were planning to target sensitive installations and law-enforcement agencies personnel.

Raids are being conducted for the arrest of the escaped terrorists, the spokesman added.
