Thumb impressions’ verification in NA-122: NADRA chairman rejects Imran Khan’s plea to remove DG
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) chief has rejected PTI chairman Imran Khan’s plea to remove Director General Muzaffar Ali.
In a letter to the NADRA chairman, Imran Khan stated that the election tribunal had ordered the verification of thumb impressions in NA-122.
He alleged that NADRA DG Muzaffar Ali is under pressure from Ayaz Sadiq to change the results of thumb impressions.
He asked the NADRA chairman to supervise the verification of thumb impressions after removing the DG.
In reply to the letter, the NADRA chairman said that action could not be taken against the DG on the basis of unconfirmed allegations.
He asked Imran Khan to give solid proofs in this regard.
