RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that it is time that India should speak truth about false claims of debunking F-16.

In his tweet, the DG ISPR said truth always prevails, asking India to speak truth about false claims and actual losses on their side including the second aircraft shot down by Pakistan.

The DG ISPR said India needs introspection especially over atrocities in Occupied Kashmir.

Major General Asif Ghafoor said region needs peace, progress and prosperity.

The tweet of the DG ISPR came after a leading US journal rejected Indian claim of downing a Pakistani F-16 during a brief battle in February.

US magazine rejects Indian claim of downing Pakistan F-16

Earlier, a leading international US magazine “Foreign Policy” has rejected Indian claim of downing Pakistan F-16 during a brief battle in February.

Two senior US defense officials with direct knowledge of the situation told US Magazine Foreign Policy that US personnel recently counted F-16s in Pakistan and found none missing.

The Magazine said, India has once again misled the world through baseless and false claims.

The findings directly contradict the account of Indian Air Force officials, who said Indian air force shot down a Pakistani F-16.

One of the senior US defense officials said that Pakistan invited the United States to physically count its F-16 planes after the incident as part of an end-user agreement signed when the foreign military sale was finalized.

However, the defence official dismissing Indian point of view said the agreement did not involve any terms limiting the use of the F-16s.

According to the sources, desperate Indian intelligence RAW seeks NDS help to take down Pakistani aircrafts. In line with its nefarious designs, the sources also revealed that the RAW has requested NDS to target aircraft coming from Peshawar, Samungli or any other airbase in Pakistan.

Sequel to Indian Air Force intrusion into Pakistani air space, desperate India continues to embark upon a series of provocative actions against Pakistan.

“The Indian intelligence agency has also asked Afghanistan to send TTP militants to Pakistan to carry out terror attacks,” the sources further said.
