Toddler killed by cops’ stray bullet buried amid sobs in Karachi
KARACHI (92 News) – Moving scenes were witnessed during the burial of Ahsan, one-and-a-half-year-old boy who was killed by a stray bullet fired by policemen in Safoora Goth, on Wednesday.
According to the autopsy report, the bullet hit the victim’s chest.
Victim’s grandfather said that the policemen were firing at each other. Her mother appealed to the high-ups to provide her justice and give exemplary punishment to the cops.
Sindh Local Bodies Minister Saeed Ghani said that they cannot allow firing at public places.
The police had registered a case against unknown people under several sections, including the attempt to murder section.
The victim’s father demanded that the sections of murder and ATA should be added to the FIR.
